A master’s thesis was submitted to the College of Engineering – Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Kerbala, and tagged (Behaviour of hybrid concrete SIFCON two loadings -way slabs under monotonic loadings) by student Alia Maytham Abbas.
This study investigates the addition of mortar fiber penetrating concrete (SIFCON) in the tension zone and its pouring at the same time as the casting of the hybrid slab. The main aim of the thesis is to improve the structural behaviour using a hybrid flat slab with mortar-permeable fiber concrete in the tension zone to provide recommendations on the design of flat slabs in a strength-optimizing manner using SIFCON.
The thesis was approved by the discussion committee, which consisted of Prof. Dr. Sajjad Amer Hamzah, the chairman of the Committee, Assistant Prof. Dr. Ali Naji Attia (Member), Assistant Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Sadiq Radi (Member), Prof. Dr. Laith Shaker Rashid Al-Qarawi, and Assistant Prof. Dr. Ayman Jamil Kadhem (Member and Supervisor).
